'Jasper'

Jasper was the bright spot in our lives. He was 1 1/2 years old, a male pappilon mix. Jasper was recently killed by a hit and run driver.
He escaped out our front door, my 11 year old daughter tried to catch him and was almost killed herself running into a busy street.
Jasper died within seconds in my daughters arms... He was a huge part of our lives. I had him since he was a puppy. Our family seems so empty without him.
We buried him on my sisters property since we live in an apartment. We put up a memorial headstone, also framed a bunch of pictures of him. Sometimes I don't feel as though I will ever get over the guilt of what happened... He was so loved and felt like a child of mine. He will be deeply missed...
