'Rudy'

Rudy passed away peacefully at home, after a brief illness, in Troy, NY, surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his human "mom", Terri Kehrley, and his human buddy, Evan Conway, and his canine sibling, Stella. Rudy was predeceased by his canine friends, Tasha, Sparky, Buster, and his feline "friend", Miss Kitty.
Rudy enjoyed lounging in the sun, spending time with his people in his yard, and designing multi-blanket nest sleeping arrangements for himself. He also considered himself an expert cat food thief.
In his younger days, he loved chasing squirrels and chipmunks in the yard with his pal, Buster. Rudy traveled frequently, and had been to Sullivan County for a family visit recently. He enjoyed riding around in the car on errand days. He especially relished the bank drive-through days, as he always received his payment of dog cookie/biscuits from the staff there.
Rudy was a large personality, wrapped up in a tiny body. He maintained a deep curiosity and interest in all goings-on in his household and neighborhood, even as his sight and hearing diminished over the years. Although not a overly gregarious or affectionate soul to anyone outside his tight inner circle, he was extremely charming in his own right, and was well-loved by friends, family, neighbors... anyone that met him, really.
Fly high, Rudy Roodles. You will be desperately missed.
