Christmas Lost

I too lost my beloved dog Ben on the 17 July 2008 I miss him so much. I adopted another dog Bess in August 2008 she is lovely, however I'm still crying for Ben.

I know what you mean about Christmas I kept it all together and now on the 2 Jan I feel terrible. I'm missing holding his little body. I'm just hoping that when I die he will be there. xxxx

Reading you post is giving me inspiration on my future... I was not sure about getting another dog, felt like I was betraying Rex. I know I am not now.

I think I just may do that... I have so much love to give and Rex would want this... I lost my 17 yrs old child as far as my heart knows. And I had beautiful years with him and can share more happy years with another "child" I will love.

Thanks for posting your feelings. It helped me.
