Birthday Wishes To The Bridge

Leya, my sweet baby girl,

July 8th is your birthday, you would have been 13 this year. I know it isn't reasonable to wish that a Dobie would live forever, or even 13 years. We were blessed to have you for 12 years, and we celebrated each one with a big party for you. It will be sad and lonely this July 8th without you. I'll miss watching you open your presents and gobble up your cake. You loved your cake so much.

I hope birthdays are celebrated at the Bridge and that you do something wonderful and fun with Charlie and your friends up there. I know if he can Charlie will get you flowers.

I love and miss you so much Leya. I think of you every minute of every day. Tomorrow I'll be thinking of all the happiness we shared every July 8th, and every day you were with us.
