Christmas is coming quickly and I can't imagine it without you Blue. I looked forward to you opening your gifts by ripping the paper to shreds to find your gift. Your habit of stealing candy canes off the tree when no one was looking and how you liked to eat Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Your birthday is also coming on December 19 and we always celebrated by getting you a toy and giving you some cake. You loved that. This year will be so hard without you. You are in my thoughts everyday. I know that someday we will meet again but the sorrow that I feel at not being able to talk to you and stroke you are hard to bear.
I know that you are in a better place and are finally free of all pain but now the pain is mine to bear at not having you. I love you Blue.
