Dear Bud:

I know that this is not a regular writing, but I feel the need. Today is Thursday - our day. Dad has gone to the car races, as he always did this time of year. You and I would spend the hours together just relaxing. I am so incredibly sad that you are not here with me.

Todd brought Dutch and Nola today and I played out in your yard with them. It made me incredibly sad. Nola walked around looking for you and seemed very down. Dutch was happy to run around and could have used the fatherly hand that you always gave him.

I just wanted to tell you how much I miss and love you.

Love,

Mom
