Dear Charlie,
You have spent eight Septembers with us, only 8, such a small number, and we have always had an eventful month each year. Whether sunshine or rain, you made everything so much brighter and easier.
My dearest child, I miss you more each day and the sadness of your absence is as acute as ever. The time is supposed to ease the pain, but that's not so. No matter what I do, where I am at, I think of you and miss you beyond description.
Please stay well with Leya at the Bridge and come to us when you are ready. Good night and sweet dreams.
