'BumbleBee Love'

She's smiling

Last week I finally got the courage to ask Daisy our cat who passed on today of last year for a sign. I asked her to let us know she was okay, that she loved us and wasn't upset with us for our decision. I asked her to use the form of a Bumblebee. Since that is a symbol we've always associated with her. Our Daisy Bee.

Two days after I asked for this sign, My mother and I had just gotten into our truck when a Bumblebee appeared in front of the windshield. It hovered there for a few seconds then circled the truck twice and then was gone. That was last friday, yesterday (the following monday) I visited Daisy's grave and spoke to her, telling her I loved her and missed her. I apologized since I would be unable to visit today, the 1yr anniversary of her passing. I returned to the house, I sat on the couch and as I looked up through the sliding glass door a Bumblebee appeared it stayed about eye level for several moments then flew on. I felt like it was her returning my love.

I really felt the need to add this as well. Today as I was walking to work, yet another Bumblebee appeared! It flew passed my face and settled on a tree next to me I wandered close enough to touch it, and asked "Daisy is that you?" Now I really didn't expect a respose from a bee, but this bee promptly left the tree and circled my head twice before buzzing along and away from me.

I truly believe that these Bumblebees were Daisy comforting me, letting me and my mother know that she loves us and isn't upset by our decision. I think she was just waiting for me to be ready to accept her signs.

She's just enjoying all Rainbow bridge has to offer until we can be together again. I love you Daisy Bee!

Daisy Bee

I recently lost my beloved lab... Daisy Bee. And, like you, I have been seeing bumblebees. And one especially hanging around on my front porch... every time I go outside, there it is, hovering on the step that my beloved Daisy Bee used to lay.

What a great story
by: Dianna

I thoroughly enjoyed your story. My buddy will be gone exactly one year on 6/11/10. He is also on this site under my Beautiful Blue Eyed Boy. He was a 20 year old husky mix, he would actually say I love you and I was the only one he would say it to, on his one year anniversary I am going to ask him to tell me again because I feel him with me every day. God bless you and your wonder bumblebees and Daisy.
