'The 2 Joys of My Life'

This is Foxy...I miss you so much. Didn't have pics of Tank

My dogs were my biggest joys in life. I had an American Bulldog named Tank who was 6, and a chocolate Pomeranian named Foxy who was only 5 months old. On Sunday February 15th 2009 my bigger dog Tank was eating out of his bowl. Foxy loved to eat his food and of course went for it while he was eating... it all happened to fast I heard Tank growling and snarling and then I looked and saw the worst thing imaginable.

Foxy was laying on the ground with a broken neck and her nerves were moving her body around so it looked like she was having a seizure. At first I thought she was just scared and laying on the ground but when I saw the blood I realized what had happened. I cried for hours and my parents and Brother did too. My Dad and Grandpa took her to the hospital but she died on the way.

It was not Tank's fault it was in his nature to be territorial and I should have watched him better. To make sure this would never accidentally happen again we gave Tank away to a man who lives on a bog farm with other bulldogs. It was not his fault and I feel awful because I know it was mine. We all knew that Foxy liked to eat Tank's food so we kept the bowl up whenever she was around. I'm the one who put the bowl on the floor and didn't even think twice about it and I'm the reason that she's gone.

I miss both of them so much. Please I need other pet owners who have recently lost their animals to talk to. Please e-mail me at CWEBBER13-6@HOTMAIL.COM this would mean so much to me if I could speak to others with my same issues.

Thank you for your time in reading my story.
