A Gentle Rain

I wake up today a little depressed all I wanted to do was go back to bed but I forced myself to go outside for a walk. I walked to the park on the way there I said a silent prayer that God would give me a sign that Sassy was okay and with him and safe from harm. I walked into the park and sat down for some reason my eyes welled up with tears I miss Sassy so much and I know it's only been a few days since she passed I needed a sign from God that she was okay.

As I sat there it started to rain it was a light rain and as I looked up that's when I saw the rainbow. I had my sign I know it was a sign from Sassy she was okay and was there with Mom and Grandpa, they will take care of her till we can meet again.
