Hi Jennifer. I am so blessed to have met Elliott thru you (more blessed to have met you!). He really loved you a lot and was always there for you. I'll never forget the time he escaped out the front door (my fault) and chased a kitty accross the street to your grumpy neighbors house. He was so focused on the kitty but listened to you and your commands. He truly was your baby boy. It will get better with time. We were not able to get another puppy till 16 years after Bear died. Now I have a new doggy to love but will never forget Bear. There will never be another Elliott but another puppy some day can help to heal the big boxer hole in your heart. I'm here for you. Let me know if you need anything..... Hugs xoxooxx.
Sorry for your loss!!! by: Bette
I am so sorry for your loss. We had to put our German Shepard/Husky mix down a year ago in January. To this day I still sometimes say her name "Ellie Mae", and Christmas was really hard because she loved to be in the middle of the living room with everyone opening their presents she would just dive into the wrapping paper, and of course she always got to open her gift first. I know the pain and loss you are feeling right now, it will never completely go away, but it will ease with time. We also have a Sheltie, and his name is Codie, and he even knew when we came back from the vet that day that she wasn't with us anymore. He looked for her for days. This wonderful site has brought me so much, as I can write to Ellie and still feel close to her. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss!!
