Dear Sugar...

One year after I brought you back to the East Coast, we were at home the morning of 9/11/2001, and the Twin Towers fell. Well, today, a CIA operative has killed bin Laden and the world is rejoicing.

I am at home tonight, and I wish I could hug you and celebrate by giving you kitty kisses! Watching tv news and wishing you were here. I miss you more than words can say. I know it was definitely time to let you go, because you were getting so sick, so I know it was meant to be that we took you to the vet. I know you did not want to suffer any more, plus, you were getting very, very old and lost your vim and vigor. You were so miserable for months before.

I'm not as sad anymore, even tho it's not even been a month yet since we said goodbye in the physical form, but I know very well you're here, in spirit at home, with me tonight. So, I know everything is, and will be, alright. I love you Kitty. See you in the morning. Sweet Dreams, Sugar. Lighting candles for you tonight, and also for the families of the victims of 9/11.
