'Joann, Moxy & Lilly'

Almost a Year

Soon it will be 1 year since I lost my dog Moxy and 2 years for Lilly. I lost them within a year of each other, and I miss them terribly. This year the holidays will be very hard for me because I lost them both in December. Lilly on Dec 5, and Moxy on Dec 27.

This last year has been very very hard because those girls were by my side for the better of 10yrs(Lilly) and 13yrs(Moxy). Lil was a Great Dane so having her 10 yrs was a blessing, but like they say the longer you have them the harder it is to let go.

I think about them every single day and I miss them very much, they took 2 large pieces of my heart when they went to the bridge. We have gotten a puppy this summer and I thought having a dog would help, and it has helped a lot, to have another dog to feed and walk and pet etc, but I still am very emotional over the loss of my girls.

Moxy was my personal bodyguard lol being a dobie she was always doing patrols and Lilly was Moxy's protector. I can now look back and enjoy the memories I have of them, and they will always have a special place in my heart.
