The last comments were so right. Don't feel alone. This site has helped me tremendously. I don't feel bad about the way I feel. Love of a pet cannot be diminished by the fact that they are pets. My dog was the most cherished treasure I had. He cannot be replaced and his memory and my love for him will continue until I see him again. Keep your chin up and remember all the wonderful times you had together.

I know exactly how you feel
by: Sarah

I understand that all you want to do is touch him again, I feel the same way about my kitty Callie that I just lost 2 days ago. All I want it to hold her. I don't know what I will do without her. She was the one I confided in, cried to, and loved unconditionally. She was there for me always when I needed her.

I wish I could give you advice to make you feel better, but all I can do is tell you that you are not alone.

Your dog will be with you in your heart always, as will my kitty, but I know it isn't the same as having them physically there to touch, hold, talk to, and love on.

Know that you have people on this site that feel the exact same as you do and don't be afraid to reach out to them. Nothing will replace your best friend, but knowing you are not alone can be helpful.
