Giselle & Songs to Grieve To

It's been a tough week. I am heavily involved with animal rescue in LA. I received the sad news today that one of our rescue's dogs, Giselle, passed away this morning. We're not sure why but we think it's tied to medication she was given for a urinary tract infection.

She was a spirited black German Shepherd we rescued from a high-kill pound not a month ago. What we can take solace in is that Giselle was living in a foster home when she passed. She had wonderful people who were taking care of her and she was loved by them and their pack.

Giselle - RIP - say Hi to Naya for me at the Rainbow Bridge. Tell her I miss her.

A couple more songs that I listen and cry to.

The first song reminds me of how my husband is helping me through the loss of Naya. He wasn't a cat person, but he knew she meant the world to me and how devastating the loss is.
