I just read your story and wanted to tell you what happened to me this morning. My wonderful KC died three and a half months ago. He had cancer and fought bravely but finally died in my arms. I have been crying for three months. I am so lonely for my constant companion.
But this morning I was working in the garden and I heard a cat meow. It just kept meowing and meowing. I thought I was hearing things and looked all around. Couldn't find a cat and then there was a skinny kitty. It was as if KC was letting me know he was okay. I gave the kitty some of KC's food which I haven't thrown out. He ate all and then he just disappeared. I may never see the kitty again but I think it was a sign from our KC that he is okay and that I WILL LOVE ANOTHER KITTY IN TIME.
