Your Pet Loss Stories

'Holly'

by Sarah
(England)

It has been a year today that I lost you Holly, you were the light of my life and I love you as much today as I did when you were still with me in body. You may have been taken from me my angel but nobody can take away my love for you.

Life will never be the same without you, I don't feel complete anymore, how can I?, you were my reason, my life, my best friend.  The pain I feel is still so overwhelming which is testament to how special you are. I think the guilt I feel of putting you to sleep will never rest easy with me and I can only hope and pray that you will forgive me. I understand you were sick but why oh why did I have to decide your fate, its so cruel.

Leaving you at the vets that day was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, you should have been coming home with me. I hope and pray that at Rainbow Bridge your health is back, you are loved and cuddled and are truly happy. As I have always said my angel when it is my time you will be the first thing I will come looking for.

I LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER.   XXXXXXX
