Your Pet Loss Stories

'Max'

Max

Max

Max came into my life when he was a puppy and my sons were babies. He was with us for 15 years. When I was sad and alone and taking care of my kids, Max took care of me. He came to me when I was sad. He accepted me no matter what my mood was. He was happy always. He was always there, patient with me and the kids. Loving and sweet. In his old age, as he weakened, he was brave. He was part of our family.

I didn't watch him for a few minutes while he was outside. After a year of being so careful every day. He fell in the pool. I feel so guilty I failed him. After he never failed me. I want to go back and relive the time I had with him and say goodbye. I'm sorry Max, and I love you so much. If there is another side, I hope so much to see you. I hope there is and I can be with you again.

Thank you for everything.

I will love you and miss you forever.
