'The Loss Of Mater'

My dog has recently died and we don't know why. But anywhere from 3 to 5 days ago he was looking around a pile of brush around a tree and we didn't know why. But that was on Friday and today's Monday and on Saturday my step dad said he saw him in the morning but no one saw him during that evening or at all on Sunday.
And today is Monday and I had a baseball game and my mom told me after the game that our neighbor across the street Ms. Jen had found him and I said is he dead and she said yes and I couldn't believe it and I'm still sad and thinking it was all fake.
