Your Pet Tributes

'Heidi'

She passed away in February 2009 with cancer. She was only 11 years old. She was a certified pet therapy dog for 4 years and made many patients happier for seeing her.

We have to realize that pets cannot be lifelong companions as their lives are so short but their unconditional love continues in all of us for having known us. Maybe this can help all of mankind.

If you have lost a pet, do not grieve too long before you obtain another, as they are God's angels to us -- but always remember they cannot be a life companion. Their lives are short but their enduring love remains with all of us and gives us many lessons in life in how to treat others with greater humanity.
