Your Pet Tributes

'Holly (sissy)'

by Janell Troutt
(Christopher, IL)

Janell & Holly

Janell & Holly

My beautiful Yorkie.
My best friend.
My comfort.
It doesn't feel right here at home without you.
No one to steal my socks...
or bark at drive by cars...
or lay down with me when I cry...
Over your 13 years of life, I bought you many gifts, but none as important as the one you gave me: unconditional love & companionship until your last breath.
& still it feels you are my guardian angel.
You helped give me the strength to do something I thought I never could.
I will never ever forget you.

Holly Troutt my sissy
October 1, 1996 - November 15, 2009.

"If tears could
build a stairway
And memories
make a lane,

I'd walk the path
to heaven
And bring you
home again.

So great has been
the sorrow,
Since we had
to say goodbye,

You were gone
before we knew it,
And only God
knows why.

My heart still
aches in sadness,
And secret tears
will flow,

What it's meant
to lose you,
No one will
ever know."
