Your Pet Tributes'Kiler Mesa'
Kiler Mesa - 01/01/2001 - 10/22/2012
In loving memory of Kiler
I grew tired frail and weak
and pain started to keep me from my sleep
You did what must be done
For this, the last battle, could not be won
The time has come for the tears to end
for you to be happy and cheerful again.
Like teaching me sit and stay
and all the times I didn't obey!
Remember the time when I was so small
I couldn't even pick up the rubber ball.
Keep my memory alive & well,
For in your heart, I will always dwell.
You've been crying so much I feel bad
I want you to be happy and not so sad.
Just so you know, I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side,
Meadows were lush, green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as I could see,
Were animals along with Baxter as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new,
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright,
That this place is truly a wonderful sight,
Then a glow pierced the night.
Twas the glow of many candles shining bright and strong and bold,
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no-one else can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart,
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.
I will be here to guide you when your time has come,
Because you never left me lonely, you were my chosen one.
So close your eyes at night and dream of me,
For the love you have shown me has finally set me free!
