In Memory of Mac

May 28, 1995-September 25, 2006


I bought a puppy the other day,

Into my heart you came to stay..

As time went by, I watched you grow,

Wherever I went, you thought you must follow..

There by my side, be it night or day,

Inside the house, or through fields of hay..

Always there through good and bad,

Always there when I was sad..

And through tears when my eyes would blur,

Haven was found in your soft black fur..

So many times you passed the Test,

Love, Trust and Devotion -

At it's Best..

Life is too short, this thought I've dread,

When no longer I will stroke your head...

Life is to short - I will miss you so,

It is breaking my heart,

To have to let you go..

There is the tumor, upon your once strong chest,

The Vet and I both know, for you,

It is best..

A Rottweiler's Love, God sent to me,

My Angel on earth,

You were meant to be..

As you cross the Bridge, it's then you'll know,

Just one more look, before you go,

Also then, would you please look down,

For even in death, we are bound..

Two souls as one, just you and I,

Please forgive me while I cry..
