Your Pet Tributes

'Milo'

by Teresa
(West Midlands, England)

My lovely golden boy passed away today, my heart is broken, my home is empty without him. I had him put to sleep at home with all his loved ones around him. I thought he was getting better yesterday, cos he ate for england and even walked a little but alas today he had a fit and I knew then it was time.

I'm just not sure why he died, I know he had realy bad arthritis, but one day last week he just lay down on his usual walk and that was it, he lost his voice, had a cough and was gagging, I think he may have had cancer as his hindquarters had withered away.

He was the most handsome, stubborn, smelly golden retreiver ever but how I loved him x He was nearly 11.
