Please let me say "I am sorry for your loss". You are right, words sometimes cannot adequately express how we feel when posting to sites like this but at least this site exists and I am so grateful it does.
You did a marvellous thing for Scarlett (and for yourself). That she died so suddenly is sad but good considering. My dog was dying before we even knew he was as the vet was so slow to diagnose and help but by that time it was too late and it was then the vet decided there was no more money to be made out of the poor fellow.
So... I am sorry but at least you gave her happy years... and love.
