One day you will look back and when you think about Blue, your thoughts will be only happy thoughts, the good times you shared.
Nothing can replace those shared experiences, but time can pull out the good ones and leave the bad ones behind. In the meantime, you and your new loved one will have new experiences, new good times, and as you do, the pain of the old experiences will fade into oblivion. It took me years to think about our family cat Tiger and not feel pain. But it did happen.
