Thank you master
For taking care of me
But now it is time
To set me free

In the still of the night
I will gently lay
And promise
To never stray

And as morning breaks
Go about your day
For I am not gone
I am just away

Though you cannot see me
This is true
But my paw print
Lives in you

Please take the walks
We used to do
And know that I
Will wait for you

For I am not gone
But just away
Only to see you
Another day
