Max

I have just read your story about your beloved Max
and it made me cry. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my golden retriever in 2010 and I miss him every minute of every day. I always said when Milo couldnt go on his walks or eat his food, that would be his time to go. But it was hard and I feel to this day I would have accepted it better if I actually knew what was wrong with him. I watched him struggle to stand, to walk, to even eat. He slept all day and all night. This was no life for a dignified dog so I made that dreaded decision. I did get another dog, mainly at first for company for my choc lab Murphy who missed Milo so much. Paddy is a black lab and I swear when I look into his eyes I see Milo. A gentler dog I have never known, and Milo passed in Feb and Paddy was born a month later, I feel I have part of Milo's spirit in Paddy. In time you may feel able to love another dog. But you will never forget ypur beautiful Max. They stay in our hearts for ever and when our time on earth is done, we will be once again reunited with all our beloved pets.

Three month ago, our baby went away suffering from Pyometra. It still hurts a lot and we can still feel her presence in the house. She was only seven and the vacuum that she left behind is unbearable for us. I really wish she is reborn as a little girl somewhere with bright twinkling black eyes and is being loved as much.

Sorry

So sorry for your loss. We know how you are feeling we lost our boy Lewis three years ago and it is hard to be without them but with time the tears turn into laughter when you think of all the good times you spent together. Max will be waiting for you both at the bridge as our Lewis will be waiting for us. They are at peace now running and playing in fields young and free again. Although they are gone we still have our memories locked safe in our hearts no one can ever take them away.
Run free max and once again so sorry for your loss. God Bless
