So Sorry Libby
by: Mel

Libby,

Your tribute to Clover was very sweet. You have such a big, soft heart for animals and I know you will continue to love (and rescue) them in the future!

Love,
Mel

Sorry to hear about Clover dying. Clover had the best owner that she could have asked for. I hope you are doing good and this is going to be tough but you will be ok. I still get tears in my eyes when I talk about Domino and that was 4 years ago. It is amazing how they get their little paws wrapped around your heart and you miss them more and more each day. She is better off not suffering but it still does not make the pain for you any easier. I will be praying for you.

Tricia

So Sorry Libby....

Clover was such a pretty dog and I am so sorry to hear that she passed.

You did the right thing for Clover Girl
by: Lynn in Canada

It was a terrible thing to face, and quite possibly the most difficult thing you will ever have to face, but you did the right thing.

When our animal companions are alive, they sense when we are feeling happy or unhappy and they want the best for us. When they have died you can be assured that if they were still living they would not want you to suffer for a long time, but to grieve their death, which is just as normal as grieving a human death, and then to move on, forever loving them, talking about them, and remembering them every day.

If you need to talk to someone other than your friends or family, there are free Pet Loss Support Hotlines you can phone with trained veterinary students to help.

Don't forget to take care of the surviving pets. They are feeling the loss too. Good luck.
