I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost my 5 yr. old dog a week ago. She had lymphoma cancer. Kate was lucky to have someone like you to love her and give her a happly life. I'm sure you gave her the best 2 yrs. that will last a lifetime. God bless you.

I am so sorry for your loss - I lost my beloved cat Jess on sunday - just found her dead on the bed - no illness - I know what you are going through - it's just terrible. I'm so grateful to have found this site and be able to find comfort in the fact that I am not alone in grieving - not that I want others to suffer! Take care

Yes, like the other comment stated.. no matter how old your beloved pet is, it's very hard. We lost our precious Spike (yellow lab) over a year ago, he was almost ten. Wouldn't it be nice if our pets could live with us forever. Instead they're in our hearts forever until we meet again.

Sorry to hear of your best friends passing. My Ameigo passed away on the 11th of January 2010 only 5 years old. No matter how you think you're ready for it it just breaks ya heart and spirit. Every time I lose a pet I think it takes another year off my life cause they become a part of us and then ripped away please come to the chat room it helps. Huggs to you.
